March 18, 2021, BELLEVUE, Wash., — Melissa Benton has been promoted to Chief of Staff of Blueprint Technologies, a worldwide technology solutions firm specializing in digital transformation.
Melissa brings a wealth of experience to the newly created role, having spent more than a decade of her career in operations and human resources. She also led Quantum Windows & Doors for five years as President.
Melissa started at Blueprint in January 2020 as the Managing Director of Operations. Recognizing quickly that Blueprint would benefit from having a leader across multiple departments due to the pace of growth the company has experienced, she recommended bringing on a strong leader to sit between the top executives and the heads of each department. Blueprint’s executive team quickly identified Melissa as the perfect candidate to take on that role.
“Melissa and I have worked together at various companies over the last 20 years. She’s one of the few people I know who can step into any organization from any industry, identify key organizational and operational improvements and implement them within record time,” Blueprint President Ryan Neal said. “Our leadership team witnessed how impactful she was to the company as the Managing Director of Operations and knew that Melissa would drive even more value back to the business, and our clients, in the Chief of Staff role. We’re really excited to see where she leads the team in 2021.”
In preparation for its 2021 and 2022 goals, Blueprint’s leadership team has been working diligently to ensure the company has the right structure in place to empower rapid decision making in each department, accelerate speed to market for services, solutions and solution-enabling products, and provide standardization and repeatability of the “Blueprint Way.” By funneling all departments up to the Chief of Staff, the teams will be better able to work together seamlessly and strategically to deliver Blueprint’s offerings in a more standardized way while also improving the company’s services and solutions.
As Chief of Staff, Melissa will report directly to the President. The Solution Development, Solution Delivery, Services Delivery, Partnerships, Recruiting, Accounting, Operations and IT leaders will now all report directly to Melissa. The Client Development, Marketing and Product teams will report to Melissa by the end of 2021.
