Friday, July 12, 2019, BELLEVUE, WA., — Blueprint Technologies, a nationwide technology solutions firm that specializes in helping companies accelerate their success through digital transformation, announced that Claudiu Barbura has been promoted to Director of Engineering.
In this position, Claudiu will continue to oversee and develop the development team in Europe as it fulfills a broader scope of work for our products and development capabilities. This role is responsible for guiding and leading development activities, including design, coding, team development, testing, and best practices. “Claudiu has distinguished himself by already maturing all of these areas across the development team in Europe and we are excited to see the next phase of growth ahead,” said Chris Carter, Managing Director of Product at Blueprint.
Claudiu has worked in various leadership roles in the technology industry for over two decades.
“For many years, I have focused on technology behind big data and machine learning, being involved with early versions of Hadoop, Cassandra, and Spark, as well as automating data science workflows,” said Claudiu. “I came to realize that cutting edge technology and real-world customers are not always a perfect match. Customers are looking for reliable solutions and cutting-edge technology can be considered a risk for them.”
“I was attracted to Blueprint because of their specialty in providing its customers value through excellent service and solutions, and the fact they are tech-agnostic, a rarity in the industry,” Claudiu continued. “I’m able to apply my expertise and passion for technology to help mature our customers’ digital transformation through product and solutions. Claudiu started with Blueprint in June 2017 as Principal Development Manager. He played an integral role in the development of Conduit, a lightweight data virtualization tool that is industry-agnostic.
